TSL034 Listening and Speaking
The third subject that we need to learn for this subject is Listening and Speaking. We learned this subject with Miss Hannan. She is a happy-go-lucky person, who will always during classes. We talked about food in Anjung, and many more. Learning Listening and Speaking with Miss Hannan is the best, as she is really amazing
For this subject, there are a lot of things we need to learn, like Phonemic, Stress Syllables, the IPA Symbol and many more. For this subject, we had a 2-hour face to face session per week, in UiTM Puncak Alam. It is the best part as we are learning these new things face to face.
Lectures and Notes
For this subject, we will have lectures through online on Tuesday and Wednesday, while for face to face class, we were divided into to groups, and my group will be having the lecture on Wednesday.
What we've learned for this subject is IPA Symbols, Phonetic Chart, Stress Syllables and many more. We also prepared ourlselves for MUET Speaking test through this subject.
Learning this subject through face to face was full of excitement, as most of our classes were conducted through online.
In classes, we did a lot of exercises, for example writing words with IPA Symbols, listening practice and also oral tasks practice. I also know how to spell my name using IPA Symbols :)
Assignments and Assessments
For this subject, there are a few assignments that need to be don in this semester. The first assignment that we need to do is the Individual and Group Oral Task. This task was conducted face to face, and I was in the same group with Farhan, Izzan and Iman. A few nights before, we started to practice for the oral tasks every night through Zoom Meetings. Praise to God that we did the task well on that day.

The second assignment that we need to do for this semester is the Demonstartive Speech. For this assignment, we need to record a video of ourselves demonstrating on how to do something. For this assignment, I choose to show hoe to bake a burnt cheesecake.
Other that that, we also had the Midterm Listening Test at the Computer Room in Puncak Alam, and I did quiet well for that assignment.
Conclusion
In a nutshell, learning Listening and Speaking and Speaking with Miss Hannan is one of the best expereince in my life. Although some of the classes were conducted online, I don't feel that's enough for all of us. For Final Examination, I hope I can do well and will achieve good results. It was a great experience as I learned a lot of new things, for instance, IPA Symbols and many more. To Miss Hannan, thank you for these times together and hope to see you next semester.
